A wave of bright pink took over at Newquay Tretherras for Breast Cancer Awareness on Wear It Pink Day, 22nd October 2015.
Year’s 7 – 13 including all staff, found creative ways to add a touch of pink to their non uniform day and donate money towards Breast Cancer Awareness.
The whole school made an incredible effort this year and managed to raise £1145.30 for the charity.
This year’s event was organised by Debbie Maunder, who commented: ‘I’d like to give a massive thank you to everyone for wearing my favourite colour today, and encouraging the students to part with their money for a great cause.’
The charity Breast Cancer Campaign uses all money raised from the Wear It Pink Day donations to fund innovative world-class research throughout the UK and Ireland.
