The NT’s Got Talent show gave the opportunity to 14 acts to perform in front of a full house of students and parent. The acts entertainment audiences to raised fund in support of the Year 10 Philippines Typhoon Disaster Aid.
The event was organised by Year 10 students; Katie Morgan, Natalie Truscott, Abby Hughes, Jemimah Lodge, Gracie Furse, Mel Reddaway and Tegan Wood who aim to raise enough funds to by a ShelterBox.
Judges, Mrs. Sue Martin, Mr. John Pearce and Mrs. Ali Thomas critiqued each act and made the difficult decision of choosing the winners whilst all acts waited on stage.
Mr. Preace said, “ The girls have worked so hard and raised so much already. The support from the rest of the school has been brilliant made it a very successful event.
The finalist were, in 3rd place Emma Chamberlain, in 2nd Alama Langslow and Winner Sennan Pope.
So far the NT’s Got Talent has raised close to £900. There are still a couple of events left before calculating the grand total!
