Nearly 40 students from Newquay Tretherras made their way up to Wembley Arena on the 14 March to participate in the Voice in a Million concert.
5000 students from all over the country joined together for a concert to raise awareness for adopted children and those in care.
The Newquay Tretherras students had been rehearsing the songs and the moves weeks in advance before, a final rehearsed in the afternoon of the concert with the rest of the performers.
Arriving at Wembley the Newquay Tretherras students had a ‘meet and greet’ with internet star HRVY and boy band ‘Road Trip’ who also performed at the concert.
The atmosphere was incredible and the students found the whole experience ‘inspirational’ according to Newquay Tretherras student Jasmine Gordon.
Jasmine a Year 7 student at Newquay Tretherras commented, ‘It was a long day but a really great opportunity that was thoroughly enjoyed by all’.
The Voice in a Million Choir will be performing at the Newquay Tretherras Spring Concert this Wednesday.
